(From Goodreads) Kylie may be a makeup artist to the stars, but she knows what it feels like to be overshadowed. Especially by her famous boss, the pop star Daphne. That’s why she’s stunned—and delighted—when one night at a party, she attracts the attention of a gorgeous stranger. But when Daphne decides she wants the handsome billionaire for herself, Cade Archer is suddenly off-limits for Kylie…

Cade has known Daphne for years, and always wondered if she might be the right woman for him—even though she never gave him the time of day. But one sizzling night with Kylie has changed everything. So why is she suddenly avoiding him? Fortunately Cade is determined to get what he wants, and he’ll do anything to show Kylie she can get everything she wants too…

I have been waiting for Cade Archer's story for what seems like forever. He's the last member of the Billionaire Boys Club to get a book, and now I'm super bummed this series is over (don't forget to check out the spin-off series, Billionaires and Bridesmaids). I've snuggled up with these six men - Logan, Hunter, Reese, Griffin, Jonathan and Caden - many a night in the past several months, and I will miss the good dreams they gave me.

One Night With a Billionaire was set up to be potentially one of the more heartbreaking of the bunch. Cade's been in love with rock star Daphne Petty since they were kids in a trailer park. But, she's never really shown any sign of reciprocation. Around the time Cade decides he's done waiting around for her, he meets Kylie - the complete and utter opposite of Daphne. And, Cade soon finds a new goal in life - to make Kylie his in every way.

I was a little nervous for Cade's book, honestly. Mostly because I absolutely did not want him to be together with Daphne, and I was afraid Jessica Clare would find a way for them to be together. I should've known better. She's never gotten it wrong before, and this time, she did everything right.

Daphne is a hot mess. She's addicted to all sorts of drugs, she drinks too much, and she's just a generally mean, selfish person. Cade has been trying desperately to get her off the drugs, thinking that once she's clean she'll realize they are meant to be together. Thank GOODNESS Cade came to his senses and realized that the only person that can save Daphne is Daphne, and that he should try and find someone else who appreciates him and practices basic human decency.

Cade finds that in Kylie, Daphne's new make-up artist. Can I just stop here for a sec and tell you how completely amazing I think it is that Jessica Clare made a heroine with some bonefide curves? My girl Kylie is a size 18. And she gets the super hot, buff, rich guy. Instead of the rock star. I just loved this so much.

Cade has suffered with gaunt and sickly Daphne for too long. He takes one look at Kylie and all her beautiful curves and sees the picture of health with a gorgeous face and a kind and sweet personality. It was such a polar opposite from what he thought he wanted, it made him realize that he never really knew what he wanted.

Kylie can't understand what Cade sees in her. She convinces herself that their incredibly hot one-night stand was just something she could put away in her spank bank, never to be experienced again. And, yet, Cade keeps popping up. Kylie's grandmother took care of her, and resented her for it every day. She never stopped telling Kylie what a burden she was. So, Kylie is determined to never be someone's responsibility or charity case again. And, that's what Cade has to see in her, right? It's such a sad thing that such a beautiful person would think this about herself.

Cade spends time and money trying to wear Kylie down, all while keeping their relationship a secret from Daphne, who both of them know would flip out if she knew. Secrets can't stay buried forever, though - none of them. And, when Daphne does find out, the result is explosive and infuriating and heartbreaking.

Cade is the most amazing hero. He has an incredible heart, and once he opens it to someone, it's all out there. Plus, he's one hot billionaire. And his and Kylie's times together were so awesome.

The final scene with all six guys and all six girls was poignant and completely perfect. I think this series ended just the way it should have, and I'm so glad I was able to experience it.
